I can't believe Christmas is almost here!! I always feel like it comes and goes so fast. I am very much looking forward to being with family, though. Rob is flying in tonight, mom is driving in tomorrow, and dad will be here Friday. We are all going out to eat for my birthday on Friday and then we'll have our Christmas with the Irbys. On Saturday we'll head over to Grandma's for our traditional family Christmas. I am so looking forward to seeing the frousins. Most of us were together at John and Melanie's wedding and we had a blast. We ALWAYS have fun together!! Sunday my family will come to church with us and then we'll have our Christmas together. Sunday night we will have our extended family Christmas with Matthew's side. On Monday I'll head to Abilene for a couple of days. Wheewww I'm tired just from typing all of that!!!
Pregnancy News:
We went to the doctor on Monday and heard the heartbeat again. That is always so amazing. Last time it was 170 bpm and this time it was 146. Matthew said it's slowing down because the baby is getting bigger. The doc said everything seems completely normal. Of course, I get nervous because we haven't actually seen the baby since 7 weeks. BUT we found out that we will have our next sonogram on January 21st and we will hopefully find out the sex at that time!!!!! I am sooo excited and I just can't believe it! I think I'm more excited just to SEE the baby and to SEE that everything is ok. Yes, it'll be great to know what we're having too, but the health of the baby is MOST important.
Here is my 14 week picture. I'm in my 2nd trimester and I think I'm starting to feel a little better. I'm still extremely tired in the afternoon/evenings and I've been getting major headaches. The doc said to drink more water so I'm trying.
I think I look like I'm showing more than I actually am in this picture. I don't know. Sometimes I think I'm REALLY showing and other days I feel that there's nothing. The doc said I am completely normal though and that I really shouldn't be showing much yet.
I hope you have a wonderful Christmas!!
